The Bokx
I created The Bokx for my final year dissertation. I decided to create an online video management system which would work similar to regular broadcast television. Most online video platforms only support video on demand rather than allowing a full video schedualing system. This project was more to push my skills in multiple areas, PHP, MySQL, Flash and XML. I didn't focus on the deisgn of this project as I wanted to make sure I had a working project at the end of the year. For this project I used flash media server to provide stream the videos as this would mean there is less load time for the visitor and I could also manage what quality of video the viewer was getting.
